The name
In the Mahabharata, Karna was born with kavach (armor) and kundala (earrings) that made him invincible. The armor was part of him from birth — forged by the sun god Surya, golden and indestructible. Not bolted on. Intrinsic.
That is how we think about agent auth. Every agent should have an identity the moment it's created: cryptographic keys, scoped permissions, and an audit trail that follows it everywhere. Auth as armor, not afterthought.
Mission
Auth0 made user authentication simple in 2013. kavachOS is doing the same for AI agents today. One SDK, any framework, any database. Identity, permissions, delegation, and audit trails — all handled.
The core is MIT licensed and always will be. The managed cloud adds dashboards, compliance reports, and infrastructure so you can focus on building your agent instead of maintaining auth.
Founder
Founder, GLINCKER
kavachOS is built by GLINCKER, a developer infrastructure studio. We have been working on identity and AI tooling since 2024, and we use kavachOS in production ourselves.
If you want to talk about agent auth, contribute to the open source project, or just say hello — drop us a line.
Open source
The kavachOS core library is MIT licensed and always will be. That means you can read the code, fork it, self-host it, and build on it without asking anyone's permission. The repo is public, issues are open, and PRs are welcome.
kavachOS Cloud is the managed hosting layer — multi-tenant infrastructure, dashboard, billing, and usage metering. You never need it. It just saves the engineering time.
